Steak and Blue Cheese Bruschetta Sandwich
An open-face steak sandwich with grilled red bell peppers and onions atop Garlic Texas Toast and drizzled with Marzetti Simply Blue Cheese Dressing.
An open-face steak sandwich with grilled red bell peppers and onions atop Garlic Texas Toast and drizzled with Marzetti Simply Blue Cheese Dressing.
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Prepare grill.
Rub the steak and vegetables with the olive oil and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Grill the flank steak to desired temperature. Remove from the grill and allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Grill the vegetable at the same time, turning after 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove the vegetables from the grill and slice the peppers into strips. The onion will cook down into rings as they cook.
While the steak is resting, bake the Texas Toast according to the directions.
Slice the steak thin against the grain after resting.
Arrange the Texas Toast on a platter, top with the sliced steak, peppers, onions, Marzetti Simply Blue Cheese Dressing and chopped parsley.
